About Feel Outdoor

Professional river guides for Tokyo and Gunma adventures.

Feel Outdoor began from a personal outdoor website in 2017 and grew into a guide-led outdoor team for rafting, family rafting, Pack Raft and canyoning, with safety support, clear briefings and friendly care for families, first-time guests and international visitors.

Who we are

Feel Outdoor is a local river team for families, visitors and first-time guests.

Feel Outdoor started from a personal website project in 2017. The goal was simple: make it easier for families, foreign visitors and local groups to find friendly river activities in Japan. That first website became the beginning of Feel Outdoor.

Today we guide Tokyo rafting, family rafting, Pack Raft and Gunma canyoning with simple communication, careful preparation and a friendly outdoor style. Our goal is to help guests enjoy Japan's rivers with confidence, safety and good memories.

  • Started from a personal outdoor website in 2017

  • Kids and family care
  • Safety-first guide decisions

Our beginning: a website in 2017.

Feel Outdoor did not begin as a big company. It began with the idea of building a website in 2017 so more people could discover rafting, Pack Raft, canyoning and outdoor water activities in Japan. Step by step, that website became a real place to share river knowledge, guest photos, safety information, booking help and personal guide support.

This origin still matters. Feel Outdoor is built with the same hands-on spirit: learn carefully, explain simply, guide honestly and help every guest feel welcome before they arrive at the river.

Built from experience

The website and tour information grew from real river guiding, guest questions and the desire to make outdoor activities easier for first-time visitors.

Personal guide care

Feel Outdoor keeps the communication personal, helping guests understand access, meeting points, safety, gear and the right tour choice before booking.

Our guides

Professional guide care

Family and kids support

Our guide support is connected with First Aid, IRF, WRT rescue training and River Association of Japan rafting standards.

Guide spotlight

Sagane Saito: a guide shaped by a powerful childhood river memory.

Saito has worked on the river since 2020 and brings more than five seasons of guide experience to Feel Outdoor tours. His connection with rivers started when he was a child. During a family vacation, his father took him swimming and Saito was pulled into a deep section of the river. A nearby river guide saw what happened, paddled close and rescued him. That moment stayed with him for many years.

Later, Saito chose to become a river guide himself. He wanted to share the fun of river activities while using real rescue skills and kind guest care. Today he guides with patience, politeness and strong passion, helping families, first-time visitors and outdoor guests feel supported from the safety briefing to the final smile of the tour.
