Parking information

How to arrive at Feel Outdoor safely and smoothly.

Parking around Mitake can be limited. Please read this before driving so you do not park on private property by mistake.

Tokyo Mitake Base does not have its own parking.

Feel Outdoor recommends coming by train. If you must come by car, please secure your own public parking spot. Feel Outdoor cannot take responsibility for parking trouble, private-property parking, tickets, or towing.

Recommended

Use the train and Mitake Station pick-up/drop-off service for Tokyo tours where available.

If driving

Check public parking in advance, arrive early, and do not park at nearby shops, cafes, private houses, or another business.

Need help?

Contact Feel Outdoor before your tour date if you are unsure where to meet or park.

Tokyo parking route notes

Use these route notes as a guide, then confirm current road and parking conditions on the day.

1. Start near the base

From the Mitake area, continue along the road. If you see private or shop parking, keep going unless it is clearly public parking.

2. Avoid private lots

Parking beside nearby stores, including cafe parking, is not for rafting customers.

3. Look near the museum

Customers should look toward the Mitake Museum area and public parking supervised by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.

4. After parking

Exit the parking area and walk along the road with the river to your right. A shortcut may be available beside a brown building near the route.

5. Use navigation carefully

Input the meeting/base address into your navigation, but use the parking instructions for the final parking choice.

6. Arrive early

Tour check-in takes time. Please leave enough time for traffic, parking, walking, changing clothes, and signing forms.
